At Paulton Dental & Implant Centre, we are committed to helping our patients smile confidently again. We understand the importance of aiding patients in their journey towards a happy and healthy smile.
We offer a range of cosmetic dentistry treatments to improve the appearance of teeth, gums and/or bite. Our dentists will discuss options with you, including colour, positioning, shape, size, alignment and overall smile appearance.
During a consultation, our dentists will write up a treatment plan, breaking down the chosen course of action, personally tailored to you for the best outcome. Our treatment plans also break down the costs of each treatment so you have a clear understanding of all prices.

Tooth Coloured Fillings
Many people have silver (amalgam) fillings in their mouths. However, advancements in treatment now allow us to offer natural-looking fillings. These fillings also offer just as much security and safety as the silver (amalgam) ones. Our dentists can blend these fillings to the individual shade of your tooth, therefore ensuring confidence in every laugh and smile.
Composite Bonding
Composite bonding is the application of a tooth-coloured composite resin to repair a fractured, chipped, decayed, or discoloured tooth, or even just to change the shape of a tooth. Unlike veneers, which are manufactured in a laboratory and require a customised mould to achieve a proper fit, bonding can be completed in a single visit. The procedure is called bonding because the material adheres to the tooth.
Veneers
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain which is custom-made to fit over the front surface of a tooth. Sometimes a natural colour ‘composite’ material is used instead of porcelain. Veneers are used to improve the colour, shape and alignment of your teeth. A precise shade of porcelain can be chosen to give the right colour to improve a single discoloured tooth or to lighten the front teeth. A veneer can restore a chipped tooth’s surface, making the tooth look brand new.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening allows you to lighten the shade of your teeth to a brighter white. It removes staining and discolouration, giving you a smile to take pride in. It’s a completely safe procedure when carried out under professional supervision. Treatment results vary depending on the severity of the discolouration.
Teeth can discolour for various reasons and therefore, during a consultation, your dentist will recommend the best course of action based on your oral condition to establish the cause and nature of your tooth discolouration. Our tooth whitening treatment is administered at home using customised whitening trays and whitening gel for two to four weeks until the desired lighter shade is achieved.
Once the tooth whitening treatment has been completed, it is easy to continue topping up. Therefore, after the first course of treatment, if you feel you need another application of gel, you can simply purchase more gel to keep your teeth consistently brighter.
What is cosmetic dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, gums, and smile. At Paulton Dental & Implant Centre, our cosmetic treatments include teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, and Invisalign — helping you achieve a brighter, more confident smile.
What are the most popular cosmetic dental treatments?
Some of the most common cosmetic treatments include teeth whitening, veneers, composite bonding, and Invisalign clear aligners. These options can correct issues like discoloration, uneven spacing, chips, and minor misalignment to enhance your smile’s appearance.
Is cosmetic dentistry only about appearance?
While cosmetic treatments primarily improve aesthetics, many also benefit your oral health. For example, correcting misaligned teeth can make cleaning easier, and repairing chipped or worn teeth helps protect them from further damage.
How long do cosmetic dental results last?
The results of cosmetic treatments vary depending on the procedure and your oral care habits. Professional teeth whitening can last up to a year, while veneers and bonding can last many years with proper maintenance and regular dental visits.
Can anyone have cosmetic dental treatment?
Most adults are suitable candidates for cosmetic dentistry, as long as their teeth and gums are healthy. During your consultation at Paulton Dental & Implant Centre, we’ll assess your oral health and recommend the best treatments to achieve your desired results safely.
