Why Remove Two Wisdom Teeth Together?
Dentists often recommend removing two wisdom teeth at the same time when both are causing problems or are likely to cause them. One tooth may be trapped under the gum. The other might be growing at an angle and pushing against the tooth beside it. Leaving them alone isn’t always the smarter option.
What Happens During the Procedure?
Before starting, the dentist numbs the area with local anaesthetic. You shouldn’t feel sharp pain, although you’ll notice pressure and movement. If a tooth is impacted, the dentist may need to open the gum and remove the tooth in sections.
