Lower Wisdom Tooth Pain

1 min read

Why Your Lower Wisdom Tooth Starts Hurting

Here’s the thing. A painful wisdom tooth is usually telling you something. Maybe the tooth is stuck. Maybe food keeps collecting around the gum because the area is difficult to reach. Sometimes the gum becomes irritated after the tooth only partially comes through.

Removal Is Not Always the First Conversation

Some lower wisdom teeth stay quiet for years and never create problems. Others repeatedly cause pain because they keep getting trapped or irritated. Personally, I think removing a troublesome wisdom tooth earlier is often better than repeating the same cycle of swelling and discomfort every few months.

Living With A Painful Lower Wisdom Tooth

Lower wisdom tooth pain has a way of distracting you. You stop enjoying food the same way. You start thinking about that tiny spot in your mouth more than you should. It just gets in your way.
